By accessing and using CareerShotAI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service. These terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service in the United States, European Union, and worldwide.

2. Description of Service

CareerShotAI provides an artificial intelligence-based image generation service that creates professional headshots based on user-uploaded photographs. The Service uses proprietary AI models to process your images.

3. User Data and Privacy

We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. By using our Service, you grant us permission to use your uploaded images solely for the purpose of training a temporary AI model to generate your headshots.

  • Uploads: Your original photos are stored securely and are used to train a dedicated model for your session.
  • Generated Images: You retain full ownership of the generated images.
  • Data Retention: We may delete your data (uploads and generated images) after a certain period (typically 30 days) to manage storage, though we are not obligated to do so. Please download your results promptly.

4. Purchases and Refunds

Services are available for purchase as one-time fees.

  • Pricing: Prices are displayed clearly at the time of purchase.
  • Refunds: If the AI generation fails due to a technical error on our part, you are entitled to a refund or a credit to retry the generation. If you are unsatisfied with the qualitative results, please contact support to get additional photos that will satisfy them generated at no additional fees.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload images of other people without their explicit consent.
  • Upload images involving nudity, violence, or illegal content.
  • Generate content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, or otherwise objectionable.

We reserve the right to ban users who violate these policies.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Your Content: You retain all rights to the photos you upload.
  • Generated Assets: You own the rights to the AI-generated headshots delivered to you. You grant CareerShotAI a limited, non-exclusive license to process these assets to provide the Service to you.
  • Platform: The CareerShotAI platform, branding, and underlying code are the property of CareerShotAI.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CareerShotAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
